Ok these may be some of the best boardies you can buy on the market today!!  O'Neill's most technical short which are super light and provide a huge stretch totally perfect for the freedom of movement whilst surfing.  The Hyperfreaks are made of 80% polyester and 20% elastane which makes them incredibly durable and stretch like crazy and then bounce back to their original shape.  This fabric is treated with a water resistant coating that makes them dry Ultra fast!!  As for the comfort factor the shape of the side seam is inspired by the design of their wetsuit and helps the boardshort move with your body, the flat stitch seam used to sew the seams will stretch with the fabric.  O'Neill also use a triple needle coverstitch to sew the hem and rise which again stretches with the fabric in fact the only part of this boardshort that does not stretch is the inner waist band!!!  The Hyperfreaks have no seam on the inside of your leg which eliminates chaffing and rashing as you sit on your surf board, the result of all of these factors are a mega stretchy high performance boardie!! The Hyperfreaks are finished off with a locking draw cord which has a TPU thermo plastic pattern fused onto it that sticks to itself so once you tie your draw cord it will stay tied!!!!! The superfly with no draw cord tabs reduces weight and bulk plus a Velcro tab to keep the fly from gaping.  While that alone should be enough to get you to try a pair, O'Neill also made this one of the best looking shorts offering some fantastic vibrant colors, you sure will turn some heads in these hyperfreaks!!!!!
